Ethical Investment

Not only can we spend our money in responsible ways, but we can also invest it to support social justice and prevent environmental degradation.

Climate change, human rights, poverty alleviation: these are all issues that are being addressed by green and ethical investments.

The Church of England has an Ethical Investment Advisory Group (EIAG) which supports the national investing bodies on ethical investment - the Church Commissioners, the Church of England Pensions Board and the CBF Church of England funds managed by CCLA. Learn more about what the Church of England's responsible investment work by watching this short film.

The Church is also a member of The Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility (ECCR), a church-based investor coalition, registered charity and membership organisation. ECCR leads and collaborates with others in advocacy and awareness-raising on issues of business, human rights and environmental stewardship.
