The 2012/13 carbon footprint for energy use in the Church of England, as calculated for the National Energy Audit is based on:
- 15,779 churches
- 8,246 Clergy houses
- 4,484 primary and middle schools
- 193 secondary schools
- 42 cathedrals and chapter properties
- 1,577 church halls
- 42 diocesan offices
- Church House, Westminster
