Day tickets are £30 and bookings can be made: here. You will be asked to indicate if you plan to attend the optional events on Thursday - there is no charge for these, with dinner payable separately on the day.
For those arriving on Thursday evening, there are numerous hotels in the centre of Lincoln (further information is available on Visit Lincoln website: here). For those staying in downhill Lincoln, there is a shuttle bus service up the hill, which stops at the Cathedral; the charge of the shuttle is £1.50 and it starts running at 9.10 am.
The shuttle service will also suit those arriving by train on Friday morning. For those coming by car there is parking in Castle Square (2 minutes from the Cathedral Centre) and there are other parks nearby at West Street and Langworthgate. Roadside parking in the Cathedral vicinity is also available. This is free for 2 hours on the south side of the Cathedral and for 1 hour on the north side. Those requiring parking on Thursday afternoon will find that the roadside parking is unlimited after 6.00pm.
