The summer exhibition at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London tells the rich and previously untold story of Britain and its fascinating relationship with gold.
The exhibition showcases more than 400 gold items ranging in date from as early as 2,500 BC to the present day. Each object vividly illustrates this complex subject.
The objects include many items which have been loaned from churches and cathedrals, including reliquaries, chalices, devotional items and more.
