Our response to Historic England's Consultation on revised Conservation Principles

Following consultation with the Church Buildings Council and the Cathedrals Fabric Commission for England, the Church and Cathedral Building Division of the Archbishops' Council have responded to the November 2017 consultation draft of the Historic England Conservation Principles.

Below is a link to our response letter to the Head of Planning Advice and Reform for Historic England. It is hoped that by making this public, the review process will be as open as possilbe given that the Division is the representative body for the largest single type of listed buildings in England, accounting for nearly half of all Grade I buildings.
