Two vacancies have become available for roles working with church buildings in the Diocese of Leeds.

The first role is for a DAC Secretary, who will work to administer the Care of Churches and Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Measure and the Faculty Jurisdiction Rules alongside the Diocesan Advisory Committee. S/he will be required to manage the DAC team whilst supporting parishes to maintain and develop church buildings with care and efficiency. S/he will have regular contact with clergy, parish officers and archdeacons, and will liaise with architects and surveyors. S/he will work closely with colleagues in the Mission and Pastoral and Buildings for Mission Teams and with other colleagues.

The second role is for an Assistant DAC Secretary, which is a senior administrative role relating to church buildings. S/he will maintain, administer and further develop administrative systems and processes, including the online faculty system. S/he will offer advice and guidance to church officers and clergy; arrange and attend site visits as necessary.
